After 5 DJ’s · Best DJ’s in Tallinn, Estonia
Recommend a Good DJ for your Christmas party in Tartu
A curated roster of three — we'll tell you honestly which DJ fits your night best.
Get in TouchThree tables in the back are speaking Russian, the front row is cracking jokes in Estonian, and someone's uncle just arrived from Helsinki with opinions about music. A Tartu Christmas party is never one crowd — it's a room full of rooms, and the DJ who reads that in the first twenty minutes is the one who turns it into a single night by midnight. That's why we keep exactly three DJs on this roster, each with a genuinely different presence and a different way of holding a room. We'll tell you which one fits this particular night — not the closest available, the right one.
What to Expect
A typical christmas party with After 5 DJ's runs 4–6 hours. One DJ covers the whole evening as one continuous arc — no breaks needed. We bring our own sound and lighting, and set up in about 60 minutes on average.
Typical Program
Warm-up — pop and R&B classics
First step — disco, Latin, retro
Rise — pop and house edits
Peak — house, electronic, club tracks
Pre-morning — sing-alongs and a classic close
Why Choose After 5 DJ's?
A Curated Roster
Three DJs, not an agency list. We recommend the one that fits your format honestly — or say so if none does.
Each With a Strength
Latin and Video DJ, live violin on the decks, or 30+ years of turntablism — different nights, different DJs.
Local to Tartu
We play in Tartu regularly — we know the venues and the local crowd.
Tartu, a university town, lives on music — Atlantis, Möku, Aparaaditehas, university events. After 5 DJ's drives down to Tartu for student parties and conference evenings alike.
About this scene
- ·Tartu's student events shift between house and dance-pop by 23:00; earlier academic evenings tend to stay in instrumental acoustic territory.
- ·Tartu weddings more often happen at smaller manors around the city; transport and install time are always built into the schedule.
- ·December peak season — bookings need 8+ weeks lead; the Tallinn calendar fills from late September.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which of your DJs do you recommend?
It depends on the format: Serj Solo (live violin) for weddings and refined evenings, Enrique for Latin and Video DJ nights, Koldun for club- and dance-floor-driven nights. Describe your event and we name one.
Is sound and lighting included?
The base package includes the DJ rig (mixer, speakers, wireless mics). Dance-floor lighting and a larger PA are add-ons calibrated to the format.
Do you also do MC work?
Yes — in Estonian, English and Russian. Worth booking MC work in advance so we can prep the script and timeline.
Can we send a request list?
10-20 must-have tracks (and any must-avoid) is the sweet spot. The rest of our crate is the tool we work with.
How far ahead should we book?
3-6 months for weddings and corporate season (autumn through winter). 4-6 weeks for private events outside peak dates.
How to Book
Booking is simple: email info@after5.ee or use the contact form. Share the event format, date and venue in Tartu, desired DJ set length, MC needs and gear package. We come back within 24 hours with a personal quote.

Who we’d recommend
For this format the best fit depends on your crowd and where the night leans. Tell us the details and we’ll name one of the three — or meet all three yourself.
Meet all DJs →The kind of night your guests are still rewinding over coffee next week — that doesn't happen by accident. It happens when the DJ listens to what the room is telling them now, not what you said you wanted six weeks ago at the booking call.
